: Mehmet Emin Yurdakul 8217;s Children Poem Children poems have been also written during the period of westernized Turkish literature beginning Tanzimat Since then children 8217;s poems anthologies appeared in Turkish literature In this connection the poets Ali Ulvi İbrahim Alâettin Gövsa and Tevfik Fikret mights be mentioned as the poets who wrote children poems; but Mehmet Emin has been forgotten in this field Infact he is interested in youth and children in his poems beside the ones he wrote specially for children This paper discuses children poems of Mehmet Emin in terms of forms content and style Key words: Children poems Mehmet Emin Turkish literature
