Abstract:

Abstract Knowledge and wisdom-loving, a good poet, prose master, with a strong love of country, which has seen the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Emîrî Efendi was an Ottoman intellectuals is Diyarbekirli lived between 1857-1924. By finding valuable work of Kashgarli Mahmud, "Divan-i Lugati't-Turk", Ali Emîrî Efendi offered of the service of the realm of science. He also formed his own library and by saying that "this library is my nation" he gave to charity his library to the nation. Carried out by the Chairman of the Department Classification between the years of 1918-1921, thousands of Ottoman document of the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives are sorted and bearing its name, "Ali Emîrî Classification" has been produced. In addition he brought the many works to the world of science, he produced own works, published magazines and he wrote scientific articles in various journals. As well as Ali Emiri Efendi was the historical personality, a period of 1877 until 1909, for more than 30 years, served in various capacities as an officer of the Ottoman Empire. Ottoman Empire started to record for information about the civil service officers Ali Emiri of the years of the occurrence of tenure in the second half of century XIX. by The Commission of Sicill-i Ahval, established on 1879. In this article, according to the records Sicill-i Ahval Commission as an officer of the Ottoman Empire will be included in the records of Ali Emîrî Efendi. To date, although many articles were written about the life of Ali Emîrî Efendi, these records are not applied at all. Therefore, this article about the life of Ali Emîrî Efendi revealing an official document and will be offered the service of the realm of science.
