So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Through this study, it was searched whether there is a significant relationship between the multiple intelligence areas of pre-service physical education teachers who study at the school of physical education and sports of qualifications according to variables related to their gender, age, marital status, the education level of their parents, economic condition and making sport besides the lessons and the scores of their problem solving skills, and whether their multiple intelligence scores vary their problem solving scores. Research group consists of students of fourth grade pre-service physical education teachers who study at Mediterranean University, Sakarya University, Anatolian University and Inonu University in 2010-2011 education year. The data has been gained through applying a questionnaire on the fourth grade pre-service physical education teachers. 104 students were attained and obtained knowledge was evaluated. The model of research is relationally survey. Three data collection instruments were used. These are: ‘personal information form’ that is developed by the researcher, self-assessment inventory at field study of multiple intelligence by Seber (2001) and for understanding of the level of their problem solving skills ‘Scale of Problem Solving Attitude’ were used.The obtained data from the research was analysed by using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 programme. while evaulation of the data, descriptive statistical methods (number,percent,average,standart deviation) were used. As a hypothesis tests, T-Test,Anova and correlation analysis were done. The obtained findings were interpreted at 95% confidence interval and significance was at p<0,05significance level. As a result of the analysis, when the multiple intelligence and problem solving skills of pre-service physical education teachers who study at the school of physical education and sports of qualifications have been considered in accordance with the demographiphic variables such as gender, age, monthly income, ones monthly expense and mostly lived place, a significant differnce has been found
