So many results that aren't mine?

Siirtli Âşık Bir Sûfî: Şeyh Muhammed Hazîn-i Firsâfî

Abstract:

This article will present Sheikh Muhammad Hazîn Firsâfî’s lives, works and his thought about sufizm. He was born in 1816 in Firsâf village, Siirt. Firsâfî who is descent from Abdal-Qâdir Gaylanî, gratuated from the madrasa of Mullah Khalil al-Siirdî. Then studied at Madrasa al-Kasimiya in Mardin. Afterwards he completed his education under Sheikh Osman Sirajuddin al-Tawilî, one of the caliph of Mawlana Khalid alBaghdâdî, and got ijazat (receiving caliphate of sufizm) from him in 1844. Ever since to the end of his life he devote his life to islamic sciences and enlightenment of humans. He died in 1892 in Firsâf. He expressed his thought in his nine poems that written in Arabic and Kurdish. He mostly focused on love, the love of prophet and truth of people and world. The love and wajd situation that he reflected in his poems barely expressed by Naqshbandî-Khalidî sufis. From this aspect Firsâfî is a very important scholar, poet and sufi in Naqshbandî Sufi path
