Abstract:

The last call to Humanity of the Holy Qur’an, from the first revelation could attract all the attention of interlocutors. Revelation, which was directly addressed to interlocutors (believers/unbelievers), have been not any difficulty in understanding it. Because the Qur'an was in their mother language; it was revealed in Arabic language. However, non-native speakers of Arabic language and some indirect interlocutors who were interested in Islam were suffering in understanding the contextual reasons of the Qur'an. From that day forward Qur'an has been intensively effort by those who wants to understand and examined it. As we know that the history between Russians and Muslims are as old as X. century.  It is known that to the end towards XVIIth century based on European language and Russian translations have been started to write. According to our detection that first translations from Arabic language to Russian language was first brought in the 1871. Nowadays the translations which are currently being translated into Russian are around thirty. Till now is not given enough attention to the criteria in order come to the upper level in translating. In this study we will try to introduce the Russian translations and authors. Then, by examining of same translations we will try to contribute a successful Russian Qur'an translation and make some suggestions.
