Bu araştırmada üniversite öğrencilerinin Dikkat Eksikliği Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu (DEHB) belirti düzeyleri cinsiyet, yaş ve fakülte açısından incelenmiştir. Çalışma, 18-30 yaşları arasında 409 kadın, 385 erkek toplam 794 üniversite öğrencisiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılardan, Turgay (1995) tarafından geliştirilen, Günay ve arkadaşları (2006) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan “Erişkin Dikkat Eksikliği Bozukluğu/Dikkat Eksikliği Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu Ölçeği” doldurmaları istenmiştir. Çalışmada fakülte ve cinsiyet etkileşim etkisi bulunmuştur. Buna göre kadınların DEHB belirti düzeyleri açısından fakülteler arası fark bulunmazken erkeklerde Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinin DEHB-Dikkat Eksikliği puanının, Edebiyat Fakültesi öğrencilerinden yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca tüm grupta ve erkeklerde DEHB-Aşırı Hareketlilik puanı ile yaş arasında ve tüm grupta DEHB toplam puanı ve yaş arasında anlamlı negatif ilişki bulunmuştur. Bulgular alan yazınla ilişkilendirilerek tartışılmıştır.
In this study, the University students’ attention deficiency hyperactivity disorder (DEHB) symptomatic levels were studied in terms of gender, age and faculty. The study was conducted with 409 women and 385 men aged 18-30 with a total of 794 university students. The participants were asked to fill in the "Adult Attention Deficiency Disorder/Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder Scale" developed by Turgay (1995) and adapted to the Turkish by Günay and his friends (2006). The study has found faculties and gender interactions. According to this, there is no difference between faculties in terms of women’s ADHD symptoms, while the ADHD-Attention Deficiency score of men’s medical school students is higher than the students of the Faculty of Literature. In all groups and men, there was also a significant negative relationship between the age and the total age of the ADHD and the age. The findings are linked to the text.
