Abstract:

The rapid growth of today’s technology is bringing competition between companies to different dimensions. Inter-business competition has not only replaced the importance of product sales, but also the importance of available information. As a result of the growth in technology, companies need to communicate quickly with their internal customers and their external customers. This is a need for the Internet environment. The ability of today’s companies to store, quickly access and manage available information has exceeded physical storage and has been directed to virtual storage areas. The lower cost, rapid availability and data management facility offered by virtual storage spaces have attracted the interest of companies. The study has studied what criteria are effective in the choice of a cloud service provider. According to literature scan and expert opinions, the criteria that are effective in the selection of a cloud service provider are grouped into 5 main criteria and 17 sub criteria. The defined criteria have been evaluated by 9 authorities and the method of analytical network process (AAS) has been used from multi-criteria decision-making methods due to the commitments between the criteria.  Research on the choice of cloud service providers of medium-sized companies has been carried out and the criteria achieved by the AAS have been evaluated.
