Abstract:

It is a known truth that socializations that take place within the flow of daily life require physical and cultural contacts. It is an underlying fact that these contacts occur directly with human body and behavior, which also bears basic characteristics that define and describe social flow. However, there is a significant change that interrupts flow in today’s society: reconstruction of time and place through social media. New problem of accelerated lives in flowing modern times is not how time is passed in a place, but the way time is interpreted again without place. The daily life that the social made create out of sharing, transformed again with the addition of story sharing into profiles. The new status added to identities along with social media brought new subject identities that control times in their hands but that the use of space is not controlled by the users, also where it is not realized how time is spent, only the things that are welcomed to be seen are shared out of tens of exposures, and there is a capability to pause time along with the story sharing. The aim of this study is to refer to the aspect of social media that transforms daily life and draw attention to the effects it creates through identities.
