Kırgızistan'ın Avrasya Ekonomik Birliğine girişi ile yeni iş imkânlarının ve üretimin yeniden yapılandırılma fırsatlarının yolu açılmıştır. Mevcut durum, yeni sanayileşmiş ülkelerde ekonomik ve sosyal gelişmenin önemli gücü olan girişimcilik potansiyelinin gelişimini teşvik etmektedir. Bu bakımdan, yeni yetişen neslin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin ölçülmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, ön lisans eğitimine devam eden öğrencilerin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi, sosyo-demografik ve coğrafi özelliklerin girişimcilik eğilimleri üzerindeki etkilerinin tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ana grubunu Kırgızistan-Türkiye Manas Üniversitesi Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Toplanan verilerin analizi parametrik olmayan testler ile değerlendirilmiştir. İstatistikler, analizler sonucu öğrencilerin sosyo-demografik ve coğrafi özellikleri ile girişimcilik eğilimleri arasında anlamlı ilişkiler elde edilmiştir
