So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, gençlerin kendilerine kimleri rol model aldıklarını ve bunun sebeplerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul’da bir vakıf üniversitesinin eğitim fakültesinde öğrenim gören 10 erkek ve 20 kadın olmak üzere toplamda 30 öğrenci oluşturdu. Niteliksel türde desenlenen araştırmanın verileri araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu yardımıyla yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılarak toplandı ve verilerinin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi ile betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanıldı. Görüşmeler Ocak- Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirildi. Araştırma sonucunda; gençlere ailelerininfazla kendi aile yakınlarını, mesleğinde başarılı kişileri, komşu veya arkadaşlarının çocuklarını rol model olarak gösterdiği; gençlerin ise anne babalarını, öğretmenlerini, aile yakınlarını, mesleğinde başarılı kişileri ve siyasi liderleri rol model aldıkları belirlendi. Gençler rol model aldıklarının, kişilik özelliklerinden, mesleki başarılarından, manevi değerlerine bağlı oluşlarından, gayret, azim ve hedeflerine ulaşmış olmalarından ve zorluklarla mücadele edişlerinden etkilenmekte; onlar gibi olmak için, kendilerine rehber almakta, taklit etmekte ve kendilerini geliştirmeye çalışmaktadır. Gençlerin davranışlarını beğenmediği ve onaylamadığı, başarısız ve hedefsiz kişiler ile aile yakınları ve öğretmenlerinden bazılarını rol model almaktan kaçındığı ve onlar gibi olmamak için onları eleştirdikleri, benzememeye çalıştıkları, bu kişilerden uzaklaşıp, kendilerini geliştirmeye ve kendilerine hedefler belirlemeye çalıştıkları belirlendi.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to determine who young people take their role model and the reasons for it. The study group consisted of a total of 30 students, including 10 men and 20 women, who studied at the educational faculty of a foundation university in Istanbul. Qualitative type-designed research data was collected by face-to-face conversations with the help of the semi-configured interview form created by the researcher and the analysis of data was used by the visual analysis method and content analysis. The talks took place between January-March 2018. It was determined that young people don’t like and don’t approve their behavior, failed and unsuccessful people and some of their relatives and teachers were avoided from taking role models and criticized them to not be like them, they tried to not resemble them, they tried to get away from these people, to develop themselves and to set goals for themselves.
