Ortadoğu Coğrafyası konumu itibariyle geçmişten günümüze birçok önemli olayın meydana geldiği stratejik öneme sahip bir yerdedir. Yazarın da eserinde belirttiği üzere Ortadoğu: ‘’Batıda Mısır’dan doğuda İran’a, kuzeyde Türkiye’den güneyde Arap Yarımadası’na kadar olan bölgeyi anlatmak amacıyla kullanılmıştır.’’ Görüldüğü üzere Ortadoğu sadece kendi içerisinde gelişmelerin meydana geldiği bir yer değildir. The Middle East Geography is a place of strategic importance where many important events have occurred from the past to the present day. The Middle East was used in the West to describe the region from Egypt to the east to Iran, from Turkey to the south to the Arab Peninsula. The Middle East is not just a place where developments occur within itself. All developments and events in the Middle East directly or indirectly affect the states located in the surrounding geography. This is the 18th edition of the book. from the 21st century.
