Abstract:

The Ottoman Empire in the period of recession went on the way to get rid of the economic, social and political impacts of war defeats and re-establish the empire. 19th Century Reforms in the West. While rough changes in government governments have occurred, local governments have been trying to fit the needs of the age. The first municipal agency established in this context, Beyoğlu and Galata Sixth Apartment, the establishment process of the municipality and the services areas of the municipality are the main topic of the article. In addition, the first municipal authority is placed on the influences of today's municipalities. In this work, which is used from the archive documents, it is about the evaluation of the first municipal services in the period conditions and the comparison with today’s municipal services.
