Bu çalışmanın amacı sosyal zekâ ve kültürel zekânın akademik performans üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Ayrıca sosyal zekânın akademik performans üzerindeki etkisinde kültürel zekânın düzenleyici rolü araştırılmıştır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde Kastamonu Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde eğitim gören 329 adet yabancı uyruklu öğrenciye anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Toplanan veriler doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve regresyon analizleri ile test edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda sosyal zekâ ve kültürel zekânın öğrencilerin akademik başarıları üzerinde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Düzenleyici etki analizi sonucunda ise, sosyal zekânın akademik performans üzerindeki etkisinde kültürel zekânın düzenleyici bir rolü olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the impact of social intelligence and cultural intelligence on academic performance. The regulatory role of cultural intelligence in the influence of social intelligence on academic performance has also been studied. In the framework of this goal, a survey study was implemented to 329 foreign students who studied at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Kastamonu University. The data collected has been tested with verifying factor analysis and regression analysis. The results of the analysis have found that social intelligence and cultural intelligence have an impact on student academic achievements. As a result of the regulatory impact analysis, it is found that social intelligence has a regulatory role in its influence on academic performance.
