Bu çalışma ilkokul dördüncü sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde ele alınan bir ünitenin öğretiminde kullanılan yaratıcı drama yönteminin, öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerine göre, sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik tutumlarına etkisini ortaya çıkarmak ve bu süreç sonunda öğrencilerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma karma desene göre yürütülmüştür. Okuldaki dördüncü sınıflar içerisinden seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle iki sınıf deney iki sınıf kontrol grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Deney grubunda 42 kontrol grubunda ise 39 öğrenci bulunmaktadır. Öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerini belirlemek üzere  “Marmara Öğrenme Stilleri Ölçeği” öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersine tutumlarını belirlemek için “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmış ve öğrencilerin görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yazılı görüş alınmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubunun genel olarak öğrenme stili tercihlerinin frekans ve yüzdelik değerleri oluşturulmuştur. Nicel veriler kovaryans analizi, görüşme verileri içerik analizi ile yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin yaratıcı dramayla işlenen sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik olumlu tutumlarının geliştiği, yaratıcı dramanın öğrenmelerinde etkili olduğu, olumlu duygular oluşturduğu, yaratıcı drama hakkında bilgi sahibi olunduğu, iletişim ve etkileşimde kullanılan kavramların farkına varıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study was carried out in order to determine the effects of the creative drama method used in the teaching of a unit in the fourth grade social studies curriculum on the attitudes of the students towards the social studies course according to their learning styles and to determine the opinions of the students at the end of this process. The research was conducted according to mixed design. Two classes were selected as experiment and two classrooms as control groups by random selection method. There are 42 students in the experimental group and there are 39 students in the control group. Data collection tools are Marmara Learning Styles Scale and Attitude Scale for Social Studies Course and written opinions were collected to reveal the views of the fourth grade students. Data were processed by using frequency, percentage values covariance analysis and content analysis was performed on the interview data. In the findings, it was concluded that students developed a positive attitude towards creative social studies course, creative drama was effective in learning, and created positive emotions, they acquired knowledge on creative drama, and became aware of concepts regarding communication and interaction.
