Abstract:

Project has carried out a cooperative practice conception towards systematic determination and edification of disabled people in Malatya. One of the sub-activities and outputs of the project is the “Research of Demographic, Economic and Psychosocial Conditions of Disabled People and Their Families”. The research is the product of the study which aimed not only aims to determine demographic characteristics but also economic and psychosocial characteristics of disabled people and their families. In this article, the Project of ÖZVERİ and some of the results of the research that carried out within this project have been placed. This article is thought to present a concrete practice suggestion for the planning process of the social integration/inclusion of disabled people.
