Ouml;zet Bu araştırmanın amacı coğrafya ders konularının ouml;ğretiminde yararlanılmak uuml;zere hazırlanan şarkıların işlevselliğine ve etkililiğine youml;nelik ouml;ğretim uuml;yelerinin ve ouml;ğretmenlerin gouml;ruuml;şlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma youml;ntemi ile yuuml;ruuml;tuuml;lmuuml;ştuuml;r.nbsp; Araştırmanbsp; 5 ouml;ğretim elemanınbsp; (Ataruuml;rk Uuml;niversitesi)nbsp; ve Tokat il merkezinde gouml;rev yapan 5 ouml;ğretmennbsp; (3 coğrafyanbsp; ouml;ğretmeni ve 2 sınıf ouml;ğretmeni) olmak uuml;zere toplam 10 katılımcı ile yuuml;ruuml;tuuml;lmuuml;ştuuml;r. Araştırmanın verileri accedil;ık uccedil;lu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış gouml;ruuml;şme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Toplanan Veriler betimsel analiz youml;ntemine gouml;re analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ouml;ğretmen ve ouml;ğretim uuml;yeleri Coğrafya konularını temel alarak hazırlanan şarkıların eğitim-ouml;ğretimi kolaylaştıracak, ilgi ccedil;ekici, ouml;ğrenciyi guuml;deleyen, coğrafi bilgi kazanılmasına yardımcı uygun bir ders materyali olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca ouml;ğrencilerin coğrafya dersine karşı olumlu tutum geliştireceklerini vurgulamışlardır. Muuml;ziğin eski ccedil;ağlardan beri insanın yaşamında etkisi ve yararı birccedil;ok alanda yapılan ccedil;alışmalarla ortaya konulmaya ccedil;alışılmıştır. İnsanları dinlendiren, eğlendiren muuml;ziğin eğitsel amaccedil;lı kullanılması, eğitim-ouml;ğretim ortamlarını ouml;ğrenciler accedil;ısından daha eğlenceli, zevkli bir hale getirebilir. Abtract nbsp; Purpose of this study is to define the views of the teachers and academicians about the efficiency and functionality of songs prepared for utilizing in teaching of geography course subjects. The survey was carried out using qualitative research method. The study was performed with totally 10 participants including 5 academicians (Ataturk University), 5 teachers rendering their service in Tokat city centrum (2 geography teachers, 2 classroom teachers and 1 social sciences teacher). Data of the study were acquired using semi-structured interview form which contains 7 questions. Acquired data were analyzed according to the descriptive analysis method. As a result of the study, teachers and academicians mentioned that authentic songs based on geography subjects will facilitate learning- teaching and also a convenient, attracting course material that will be helpful to the geographical knowledge acquisition and motivational for students. They also emphasized that students can develop a positive attitude towards the geography lesson. The effect and benefit of music in human life since ancient ages has been tried to be revealed in surveys carried out in different fields. Use of music, which makes people relaxed and amused, for the purpose of education no doubt will enrich the teaching and learning environment.
