Özet İnternet dünyasının eriştiği yaygınlık ve yarattığı cazibenin bir yansıması olarak, günümüzde yaşamın bütün alanları ve hemen tüm disiplinler bu mecrayı ve beraberinde getirdiklerini çok daha fazla dikkate almaktadır. Bu noktada ilk akla gelen aktörler ise sosyal medya araçları ve etkileşimli çevrimiçi uygulamalardır. Söz konusu yakınsama, şüphesiz bilgi merkezleri dünyasını da etki ağına almaktadır. Farklı nitelik ve içeriklerle ortaya konan bilimsel çalışmalar da bir yandan bu yakınsamayı doğrularken, diğer yandan da değişim hızına dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Google Haritalar uygulaması üzerinden il halk kütüphaneleri hakkında yapılan değerlendirmelerin farklı açılardan analizleri yapılarak, uygulamanın kütüphaneler için önemine dikkat çekilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Böylelikle, özellikle muhataba yönelik değerlendirme ve görüşlerin özgürce ifade edilebilmesi, etkileşim düzey ve tatmininin yüksek olması ve haritaya bağlı farklı ilişkilendirmeleri içermesi nedeniyle kullanım yaygınlığı sürekli artan Google Haritalar uygulamasının, kütüphaneler tarafından daha çok referans alınarak, elde edilecek verilerin, hizmet yeterliliği ve kullanıcı memnuniyetine dönüşmesine katkı sağlayabilmek hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmada, yazılı doküman ve belge analiz yönteminin yanı sıra, metnin kurgulanmasında betimleme yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Türkiye’deki 81 il halk kütüphanesi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında Google Haritalar uygulaması üzerinden il halk kütüphaneleri ile ilgili yapılmış 6.314 değerlendirme, MAXQDA programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, il halk kütüphanelerinin yanı sıra, Türkiye’deki diğer bilgi merkezleri için de Google Haritalar uygulamasının hizmet performansını arttırma, kullanıcı etkileşimi, toplumsal algı ve kabul açısından son derece özgün ve referans alınması gereken verilere sahip olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Farklı disiplinlerde bilimsel yaklaşımla sıklıkla ele alınan Google Haritalar uygulamasının kütüphanecilik alanı ile ilişkilendirildiği ulusal literatürdeki ilk çalışma olan araştırmanın, tıpkı sosyal medya araçlarında olduğu gibi, Google Haritaların da kütüphaneler tarafından daha ciddiye alınmasına, uygulama aracılığı ile elde edilecek verilerin ve sağlanacak etkileşimin her açıdan daha “iyi” kütüphaneye dönüşmesine katkı sağlayacağı değerlendirilmektedir.
As a reflection of the spreadness the Internet world has reached and the charm it has created, today all the fields of life and all the disciplines take much more into account this mechanism and what they bring with it. At this point, the first actors that come to mind are social media tools and interactive online applications. This approach, without a doubt, takes the information centers into the world of influence. Scientific studies presented with different qualities and contents also confirm this proximity on the one hand, while on the other hand attract attention to the rate of change. In this study, Google Maps app is aimed at paying attention to the importance of the app for libraries by making analysis of the reviews of the municipal public libraries from different perspectives. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the freedom of expression of assessments and opinions especially to the interlocutor, the high level of interaction and satisfaction, and the continuously increasing prevalence of use due to the map-related different connections, the Google Maps app, which is more referred to by libraries, to the conversion of the data to be obtained, the availability of the service and the user satisfaction. In the study, in addition to the method of written document and document analysis, the method of illustration was used in the formulation of the text. The universe of the study is composed of the 81 province public library in Turkey. The research was carried out through the Google Maps application on the public libraries of the province. 314 reviews have been analyzed using the MAXQDA program. The findings found that, in addition to the public libraries of the province and other information centers in Turkey, the Google Maps app has data that is extremely original and must be referred to in terms of service performance, user interaction, social perception and acceptance. The research, which is the first study in national literature in which the Google Maps app, which is frequently addressed by scientific approaches in different disciplines, is linked to the field of library, as in social media tools, is estimated to contribute to the more seriousness of Google Maps by libraries, the data obtained through the application and the interaction provided to be transformed into a "good" library in all respects.
