Abstract:

This study aims to identify students’ entrepreneurial trends and to reveal the differences in entrepreneurial trends according to the department, the reason for the department’s preference, gender, class and employment conditions of parents. The study was conducted on the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and Nutrition and Nutrition. The survey was used as a method of data collection and a total of 477 current surveys were obtained. In the survey, the likert scale 5 was used. According to the research, entrepreneurship tendency dimensions, innovation, self-confidence, control focus, risk-taking and achievement needs are more than 3.5 per cent. However, it has been found that students have a low tolerance to uncertainty (=2.70). Men have higher scores in self-confidence than women. According to the reason for preference of the section, there are significant differences between groups in tolerance to uncertainty, self-confidence, innovation and risk-taking dimensions. According to the interclass comparison, there is a significant difference in the size of the need for success only. Comparisons of parents based on employment conditions have found that there is a significant difference in the level of risk taking according to the mother's profession. According to the departments, there was no significant difference in the size of the entrepreneurial trend.
