Abstract:

It is located in the Tunçbilek district of Kütahya and operated by the Garp Linyitts Enterprise (GI) affiliated with the Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKI), the Omerer subterranean coal has been providing our country with coal production services for many years. Applications of the first examples of mechanized longitudinal mining began in 1998 and the first and successful examples of the mechanized production method in thick coal vessels were given. Permanent waiting bars are built in order to cut the bond with the underground mining of the bars completed production activities. Thus, the purpose of the production activities is to eliminate the effects of these areas that have completed the production activities on the continuing areas. It is important that the permanent waiting bars are designed in accordance with the potential of gas and water to accumulate in the panels that have completed production activities. This can ensure that the barriers continue to serve stable despite events such as gas explosion and water stumbling. In this study, researching the conditions of permanent waiting bars in the Omerler subterranean mining centre, the principles and practices of application related to the designs of permanent waiting bars were revealed.
