Abstract:

Terms a group of words expressing specific and special concepts are uses which tie people involved in many areas such as science and art to only one language signifier Yet a term is functional providing that it is conventional Having a general look at grammatical terms used today we see that many of them are conventionalized However we cannot deny that there are some which have still not conventionally used Thus it is obvious that the family of terms requires a certain number of new terms to be invented in the light of various language research theories and applications According to the findings obtained research on human language there are two main semantic interpretations in human language: affirmativeness and negativity of semantic interpretation Indicating two main different semantic interpretations the terms affirmative and negative are found to be inefficient in expressing concepts when they are used to show semantic interpretations of in text relational processing Therefore a new conventional sign to be used to indicate the two main semantic interpretations of in text relational processing is needed We suggest the terms affirmation and negation to express the semantic interpretation of in text relational processing as parallel to affirmative and negative opposition Key words: affirmation negation Turkish linguistic term
