Türkmençay ve Gülistan antlaşmalarıyla Rusya ve İran arasında ikiye ayrılan Azerbaycan coğrafyası her biri ayrı kültürel gelişmeler yaşamışlardır. Kuzey’de edebi dilin gelişmesi, Güney’de ise yoğun şifahi edebiyatın varlığını görmekteyiz. İran sınırları içinde bulunan Güney kısmı Azerbaycan Türkçesinin kısıtlamalara rağmen Arap alfabesini kullanmış, Rusya sınırları içinde Kuzey kısmı ise Kiril ve Latin alfabesini işletmiştir. İran sınırları içindeki Güney kısmı Pehlevilerin iş üstüne gelmesi ve resmi dilin Farsçaya çevrilmesi ile kültürel kısıtlamalara maruz kalmıştır. Bu coğrafyada Türk varlığının inkâr edilmesine rağmen büyük bir Oğuz Türk nüfus kitlesinin yaşaması sonucu ortaya çıkan şifahi edebiyat inkâr edilememiştir. Azerbaycan Türklerinin yanı sıra, Türkmen Türkleri, Kaşkay Türkleri İran coğrafyasında yaşamaktadırlar. Oğuz grubunun Azerbaycan Türkçesi en büyük kitle dili olarak İran’ın Kuzey Batı bölgesinde konuşlanmaktadır. Bu coğrafya Hazar Denizi kıyısından Türkiye sınırlarına kadar uzanan geniş bir bölgedir. Bu bölge İran Türklerinin yaşadığı diğer bölgeleri gibi yazılı edebiyattan çok sözlü edebiyat ürünlerine sahiptir. Büyük Türk nüfusunun varlığı zengin şifahi halk edebiyatı ürünlerini ortaya koymuştur. Yazarlar bu zengin şifahi edebiyattan yararlanarak kimi zaman onları toplayıp yazıya geçirmiş, kimi zaman yazılarında konu etmişler. Behram Esedi Azerbaycan Türk çocukları için hazırladığı kitaplarda bu malzemeden faydalanarak eserlerini ortaya koymuştur. Yazar hazırladığı kitaplarda çocukların ana dillerinin öğrenmesi yanında zihin gelişmelerine çaba göstermiştir. Onun yazılarında milli kültür ve milli folklor vurgulanarak insani değerlerin yüceltilmesi, vatan ve millet sevgisi, anadilin benimsenmesi görmekteyiz. Hazırladığı eserler tamamıyla kendi çabaları olmuş, öğretmen maaşıyla hiçbir yerden destek görmeksizin eserlerini yayına hazırlayıp kendi kurduğu yayınevinde bastırmıştır. Bu çalışmada Behram Esedi’nin hazırladığı çocuk kitapları konusunda bilgi verilecektir.
The Azerbaijan geography, which is divided into two by the Treaties of Turkmenistan and Gülistan and between Russia and Iran, has each experienced different cultural developments. We see the development of literary language in the north, and in the south we see the existence of intense healing literature. The southern part within the border of Iran, despite the restrictions of the Azerbaijani Turkish, used the Arabic alphabet, while the northern part within the border of Russia operated the Kirill and Latin alphabet. The southern part within the border with Iran has been subjected to cultural restrictions with the Pehlevic entry into business and the translation of the official language into Persian. Despite the denial of the Turkish existence in this geography, the healing literature arising from the life of a great Son Turkish population mass was not denied. In addition to the Azerbaijani Turks, Turkmen Turks, Kashkai Turks live in the Iranian geography. Azerbaijani Turkish is the largest mass language spoken in the northwestern region of Iran. This geography is a wide area ranging from the coast of the Hazard Sea to the borders of Turkey. This region has many verbal literary products from written literature, like the other areas in which the Iranian Turks live. The presence of the large Turkish population has revealed its rich healing public literature products. The writers, using this rich healing literature, sometimes gathered them and put them in writing, sometimes submitted them in their writings. Behram Esedi has presented his works using this material in the books he prepared for Azerbaijan Turkish children. In the books he prepared, he tried to develop the minds along with the learning of the children’s native languages. In his writings we see the glorification of human values, national culture and national folklore, the adoption of patriotic and national love. The works he prepared were completely his own efforts, with the teacher's salary, he prepared his works for publication without any support from anywhere and printed them in the publisher he created himself. This study will provide information about the children’s books prepared by Behram Assedi.
