Abstract:

Disaster is the general name given to events that stop or disrupt the normal life of the affected people, cause physical, economic and social losses and that local governments cannot cope. Considering the consequences of disasters, they cause a lot of loss of life and property. For this reason, an effective disaster management is needed in every country in order to minimize the damage. Effective disaster management for hospitals is a hospital disaster plan. The hospital disaster plan prepares the hospital's resources, staff and structures to perform effectively in different disasters. The aim of this study is to present the analyzes of 609 articles on hospital disaster plan published between 2002-2021 by years, countries, authors, Web of Science categories and keywords. The analysis of this study was visualized using the VOSviewer application. In this context, bibliometric analyzes were made on the hospital disaster plan, and it was prepared to contribute to the relevant field and to create ideas. With the study, it has been determined that studies on hospital disaster plan have increased in recent years, and the data obtained as a result of the analyzes are explained with tables and figures. According to the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the number of studies conducted in general increases every year. It was concluded that the country with the most publications is the United States, the year with the most publications is 2021, the author with the most publications is Christian M.D. and the most used keyword is disaster. In general, Turkey was not at the top of the list in terms of the number and density of publications.
