Amaç: Tek taraflı ve çift taraflı işitme cihazı kullanan çocuk hastaların ailelerinin yaşam kalitesini değerlendirmek Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya işitme cihazı kullanan 121 çocuğun ebeveynleri dahil edilmiştir. Katılımcılara Mf07-01, Çalışması Yaşam Kalitesi (Sf36) Formu ve Beach Center Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (BCAYKÖ) uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan katılımcıların 69'u kadın iken 52'si ise erkektir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 37,54 ± 5,63 idi. 17 kişi ilkokul, 24 kişi ortaokul, 63 kişi lise, 17 kişi üniversite mezunu idi. Çalışmamızda katılımcılardan cihaz bakım ve ayarlamasında zorluk yaşayanların Yaşam Kalitesi ölçeği ve BCYKÖ alt boyutları olan duygusal yeterlilik, finansal / fiziksel / materyal yeterlilik değişkenlerinden aldıkları puanlar istatiksel olarak anlamlı derecede düşük bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Sonuç: Ailelerin ve çocukların cihaz bakım ve ayarlamasında zorluk yaşamaları ebeveynlerin finansal, fiziksel yeterliliklerini ve yaşam kalitesini olumsuz etkilerken; çocuklara verilen özel eğitimin aile etkileşimini, kaynaştırma eğitiminin de yetersizliğe ilişkin desteği olumlu etkilediği gözlenmiştir.
Purpose: Evaluation of the quality of life of the families of children patients using one-sided and dual-sided hearing devices Method and method: The parents of 121 children using hearing devices are included in the work. The participants were applied Mf07-01, the Work Life Quality Form (Sf36) and the Beach Center Family Life Quality Scale (BCAYKÖ). Results: 69 of the participants were women and 52 were men. In our study, participants with difficulties in the maintenance and adjustment of the device have found that the scores they obtain from the emotional, financial/physical/material capacity variables, which are the Life Quality scale and the subdimensions of the BCYK, are statistically significantly low (p<0,05). Result: Families and children experience difficulties in the maintenance and installation of the device affect the financial, physical and quality of life of the parents, while special education given to the children has been observed to have a positive impact on the family interaction and the support for disability.
