Abstract:

The perception of tourism varies depending on the level of development of tourism in the region and how it affects the life of the people. The tourism support of the public is different. The study aimed at determining the tourism perception and tourism support of the people living in Kalecik, Alanya and Erdek in different development stages in terms of tourism. The survey was conducted according to the cota sample, taking into account the age and gender distribution of the district population between 20-69 years of age. The analysis of frequency, one-way variance and regression analysis. The positive economic and socio-cultural effects perceived have a positive impact on the idea of supporting tourism in three districts. The positive environmental perceptions have a positive impact on Kalecik and Erdek. The negative economic impacts perceived have a positive impact in Kalecik, but interestingly in Alanya, while the support to be given to tourism does not affect in Erdek. Although negative environmental impacts do not affect the support that can be given to tourism in any way, positive environmental perceptions have a positive impact in Kalecik and Erdek except Alanya.
