Abstract:

According to the teachers’ perceptions, the research used the relative scan method to study the relationship between the cultural leadership behavior of primary school managers and the organizational image of teachers. The universe of the research covers teachers who work in state schools in the province of Konya in the 2018-2019 academic year. To identify the number of schools and teachers, the data of the National Education Directorate of the province of Konya were used. The sample of the study is 380 teachers selected from 18 primary schools using a simple random sample method. In the collection of research data, the "Cultural Leadership Scale" and "Organized Imaging Scale" were used. The analysis of the data obtained in the study was used by the SPSS package program. In the analysis of the data, the study took advantage of the arithmetic average, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U-test, Kruskal Wallis H-test and Spearman rho correlation analysis. According to the results obtained from the study, the general average of teachers’ perceptions of primary school managers about cultural leadership behaviors is at the "I'm Disappointed" level. The general average of the organizational image perceptions of the teachers was found to be at the level "I agree quite". Also, according to teachers’ perceptions, it has been revealed that there is a medium-level positive and meaningful relationship between the cultural leadership behavior of primary school managers and the organizational image of teachers.
