Abstract:

This study has studied the impact of documentary drawing activity on the attitudes of teachers candidates towards the environment. In the study, the control group pre-test last test half-experimental pattern was used. The teachers who participated in the experiment group have prepared a documentary on the four separate topics identified. The study included 61 teachers candidates who studied at a state university in Diyarbakır. At the end of the experimental process that took place throughout the spring period of the 2017-2018 academic year, the teacher candidates who studied in the experiment group were determined that their ecocentric attitudes towards the environment developed in a positive direction. Increase of non-class learning activities in environmental education courses is among the research recommendations.
