Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the articles and theses prepared on self-efficacy in the fields of Turkish education and teaching Turkish as a foreign language from different aspects and to reveal their general tendencies. The research is limited to articles and theses on self-efficacy published between 2009-2022 in Turkey. For the sample, searches were made on the databases of YÖK National Thesis Center, TR Index, Google Scholar, ResearchGate and DergiPark. As a result of these scans, a total of 127 academic studies on self-efficacy were identified. The identified academic studies consist of 34 postgraduate theses (master's-doctorate) and 93 articles. Qualitative research method was used in the research. The data of the research was collected through document analysis, and the content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the examinations, it has been determined that the master's theses are more than the doctoral theses. When the distribution of graduate theses according to universities is examined, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University took the first place. It has been concluded that the most frequently used research method is the quantitative research method.
