Abstract:

This study aims to examine the postgraduate theses written within the scope of technology-based science education between 2010-2020. For this purpose, the distribution of the theses according to the master's thesis and doctoral thesis, the technological tools used, the research design used in the thesis, the distribution of the theses according to the years, the subjects and units in the thesis, the grade levels applied and the most repetitive words in the keywords were revealed. Within the scope of the research, 59 postgraduate theses were examined. In the evaluation phase of the thesis, the "Thesis Evaluation Form" prepared by the researcher was used. This study was conducted with the document analysis method, which is within the scope of qualitative research methods. In the research, it was observed that the master's theses were more common than the doctoral thesis, computer-assisted teaching, which is one of the technological tools used, was preferred more than other technological tools, and the experimental design was used more among the methods used. It was found that the unit of force and motion in the subject area of physical events was given more space, and 7th grade students were chosen as the study group. When the key concepts in the theses were examined, it was concluded that the concepts such as science, attitude, academic achievement, computer-assisted teaching, smart board were the most repetitive concepts.
