İnsan, iletişimle var olan bir varlık olduğundan çevri çalışmaları insanla eşdeğer bir tarihe sahiptir denilebilir. Nitekim yapılan tarihi araştırmalar ve arkeolojik incelemelerden edinilen sonuçlara bakıldığında, çevirinin çok eskilere dayanan ve oldukça önemsenen bir etkinlik olduğu net bir şekilde görebiliriz. Ülkelerarası iletişim her geçen gün geliştiği ve uluslararası ilişkilerin önem kazandığı günümüz dünyasında çeviriye olan ihtiyaç daha da artmış, buna bağlı olarak da yabancı dil öğrenimine büyük bir talebin oluşmasına neden olmuştur. Bu talebi karşılayabilmek amaçla da bütün dünyada yabancı dil öğretim yöntemi ve yaklaşımları gün geçtikçe daha da geliştirilmiştir. Günümüzde yabancı dil eğitiminde klasik yabancı dil öğretme yöntemlerinden yararlanıldığı gibi çeviri işleminden de yararlanılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çeviri, yabancı dil öğretiminde bir araç olarak ele alınmaya başlamıştır, Türkiye'de son yıllarda mültecilerin akımından sonra çevirinin eğitimi ve özellikle en önemli çeviri dallarından olan sözlü çevirinin eğitimi daha fazla önem kazanmıştır. Sözlü çeviri çeşitleri ve yöntemlerinin gelişimi ise zamanın gelişimine ve ilerlemesine bağlıdır. Bunun nedeni ise hızlı globalleşen dünyanın akışıdır. Bu amaçla sözlü çevirinin eğitimi, geliştirme yöntemleri ve yetenekli çevirmen yetiştirilmesi önemli bir hal almıştır. Bu çalışmada sözlü çevirinin önemi, tercümanın, doğru sözcüğü uygun yerde kullanmasının önemini ve Çeviri hataları çok büyük sorunlara yol açabilme ihtimali ve Çevirmenin bu zorlukları aşabilmesi için ne yapacağını ve bu bağlamda da kendisini nasıl geliştirmesini ele alınacaktır.
As man is a being that exists through communication, environmental studies can be said to have an equivalent date to man. In fact, when we look at the results obtained from historical research and archaeological studies, we can clearly see that the translation is a very ancient and very important activity. The need for translation has increased in the world of today, where national communication is developing every day and international relations are increasing in importance, and therefore a large demand for foreign language learning has arisen. In order to meet this demand, the methods and approaches of teaching foreign languages throughout the world have been increasingly improved. Today, the translation process is used as well as the classic methods of teaching foreign languages are used in foreign language education. In this context, translation has begun to be treated as a tool in the teaching of foreign languages, and in Turkey in recent years, after the flow of refugees, the training of translation and especially the training of verbal translation, which is one of the most important branches of translation, has gained greater importance. The development of the varieties and methods of verbal translation depends on the development and progress of time. This is due to the rapidly globalized world flow. For this purpose, the training of verbal translation, the methods of development and the training of skilled translators have become important. In this study, the importance of verbal translation will be discussed, the importance of the translator to use the right word in the right place and the possibility that translation errors can lead to very big problems and what the translator will do to overcome these challenges and how to improve himself in this context.
Since the human being is existed with communication, it can be said that translation studies have the same old history of communication. When we look at the results gained from the historical researches and archaeological studies, we can clearly see that the translation is very old and important activity. Foreign language studies have gained a great importance in our World, because communication between countries is growing very fast. For this reason, foreign language teaching methods and approaches are being developing more and more all over the World. Nowadays, traditional foreign language teachings methods as well as translation process are utilized and translation has begun to be considered as a tool in foreign language teaching. In recent years, after the currents of the refugees in Turkey the education of translations and especially interpretation, which is one of the most important translation branches, has gained more importance. Today, interpreting in general is one of the most important translation branches of the world and the mainly reason of this importance is the fast development and globalizing. Therefore, interpreting and its development methods has become a major branch of education. In this study we will discuss the importance of interpreting and haw the translator uses the correct word in the appropriate place, and the problems and difficulties which can cause a big problem and some solutions for these problems.
