Bu çalışmanın amacı; üniversite öğrencilerinin bağlanma stillerine göre reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddet eğilim düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın bir diğer amacı ise cinsiyet değişkeninin bağlanma stilleri, reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddet eğilimi ile ilişkisinin incelenmesidir. İlişkisel tarama modeli niteliğindeki araştırmanın örneklemini Hatay Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi, Tarsus Üniversitesi, Toros Üniversitesi ve Çağ Üniversitesi’nde okuyan toplam 342 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu ile İlişki Ölçekleri anketi, Reddedilme Duyarlılığı ve Şiddet Eğilim ölçekleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada incelenen reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddet eğiliminin bağlanma stilleri ve cinsiyete göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını incelemek amacıyla iki yönlü varyans analizinden; farklılıkların kaynağını bulmak için Tukey testinden faydalanılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre bireylerin reddedilme duyarlılıklarının cinsiyete göre değişmediği ancak kaygılı bağlanma stiline sahip bireylerin reddedilme duyarlılık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Şiddet eğilimi ile ilgili bulgulara bakıldığında ise kadınların ve güvenli bağlanma stiline sahip katılımcıların şiddet eğilim puan ortalamalarının düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Bağlanma stilleri, reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddet eğilimi arasında ilişki bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study is to study the relationship between the sensitivity of rejection and the levels of violence tendencies according to the association styles of university students. Another purpose of the study is to study the relationship of the gender variable with the styles of bonding, the sensitivity of rejection and the tendency to violence. The examples of the research in the nature of the relational scan model are made by a total of 342 students studying at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Tarsus University, Toros University and Age University. The participants were applied with the personal information form and the Relationship Scale survey, Refusal Sensitivity and Violence Trend scales. The study used two-way variance analysis to study the sensitivity of rejection and the tendency of violence to study whether it differs according to the styles of connection and gender; the Tukey test was used to find the source of differences. The study found that individuals’ rejection sensitivities did not vary by gender but that individuals with an anxious linking style had a high level of rejection sensitivity. Given the findings related to the tendency of violence, it was found that women and participants with a safe linking style have a low average of the tendency score. Relationship styles have been found between rejection sensitivity and tendency to violence.
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between rejection sensitivity and violence tendency levels according to the attachment styles of university students. Another aim of the study is to examine the relationship of gender variable with attachment styles, rejection sensitivity and tendency to violence. The sample of the research, which is a relational screening model, consists of 342 students studying at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Tarsus University, Toros University and Çağ University. Personal information form, Relationship Scales questionnaire, Rejection Sensitivity and Violence Tendency scales were applied to the participants. In order to examine whether the rejection sensitivity and violence tendency examined in the study differ according to attachment styles and gender, the two-way analysis of variance; Tukey test was used to find the source of the differences. According to the findings of the study, it was found that individuals' sensitivity to rejection did not differ according to gender, but individuals with anxious attachment style had high rejection sensitivity. Looking at the findings about violence tendency, it was found that the mean scores of violence tendency of women and participants with a secure attachment style were low. A relationship was found between attachment styles, sensitivity to rejection, and tendency to violence.
