So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Araştırma, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor bölümleri ile yüksek okullarının özel yetenek sınavlarına katılan öğrencilerin sosyo-ekonomik profillerinin ortaya konması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmamıza, Selçuk Üniversitesi ve Süleyman Demirel Üniversitelerinin 1999-2000 eğitim ve öğretiminde özel yetenek sınavlarına kayıt yaptıran 262 öğrenci katılmıştır. Bunlardan 171\' i bay, 91\' i bayandır. Değerlendirme sonucunda Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği özel yetenek sınavlarına genelde sosyoekonomik yönden toplumumuzun orta tabakasını temsil eden kişilerin çocuklarının başvuru yaptığı ve yeterince hazırlık yapmadıkları görülmüştür. Değerlendirme, her sorunun cevaplarının yüzdelik dağılımlarına göre yapılmıştır. Ayrıca yazılı kaynaklardan da yararlanılmıştır.

Abstract:

This study was carried out to determine the socio economical profiles of the students which take part in the athletic skills exams of the Physical Fitness and Sports Schools . The working group of the study was constituted by 262 students who attended the athletic skill exams of Konya Seljuck and Isparta Suleiman Demirel Universities for 1999-2000 academic year . Among these students 171 were male and 91 were female . The evaluation of the results revealed that the students applying to these exams mainly come from middle class families and they have insufficient preparation for the exams . The evaluation was made according to the percentage distribution of the each choice of the questions. The literature was also consulted .
