Social gender is the social and cultural form of biological gender. In nature unwritten, gender-based tendencies arise as the product of a long socialization cage. Men’s violence is a result of paternal control, seen in all fields as a form of man’s power over the woman. Gender-based violence is a mechanism used from childhood to establish a certain hierarchy. At the same time, violence is based on the perception that men have the right to bear privileges in a conscious or unconscious manner. Therefore, it is clear that violence against women, social structure, paternal relationships and the sources that feed them cannot be understood without analysis. For the social meanings charged with masculinity and the relationship of the position of masculinity with power is the basis of gender-based violence. Therefore, our study is questioning what are the basic social institutions and values that legalize and maintain the power of men over women and the way of demonstrating this power. It depicts what the structures that lead to the social establishment and ideological legitimacy of male violence. We believe that the understanding that violence arises and feeds in accordance with the organizational structure and demands of patriarchal communities will also be the basis for the steps to prevent violence.

Male violence is a result of patriarchal control seen in all areas as a form of male power over the female. Gender-based violence is a mechanism used since childhood to establish a certain hierarchy. At the same time, violence is based on the perception that men have the right to be privileged over others, consciously or unconsciously. Therefore, it is obvious that violence against women cannot be understood without analyzing the social structure, the patriarchal relations and the sources that feed them. Because the social meanings attached to masculinity and its relationship with power constitute the basis of gender-based violence. Therefore, our study questions the power of men over women and the fundamental social institutions and values that legitimize and perpetuate their violence, which is the way they show this power. It examines the structures that are the source of the social construction of male violence and the structures that cause male violence to be considered ideologically legitimate. We believe that understanding that violence emerges and is nurtured in accordance with the organizational structure and demands of patriarchal societies will also serve as the basis for steps to prevent violence.
