Abstract:

Immigration for reasons such as economic, political, hunger, war, natural disasters, epidemic diseases or hunger may be expressed as a state of forced or voluntary abandonment of the geography found. As a destination they feel safe, refugees tend to migrate to their closest geography. Refugee families from Syria want to immigrate first to Turkey, which they see as a border neighbor and one of the developing countries, and then to various European countries. Unfortunately, the negative conditions in the immigration process are most affected by children. The objective of this study is to identify the problems the refugee children experience during and after the immigration process and to try to present solutions in a general sense. The work is carried out according to the status research patterns. The study’s work group consisted of 14 people working as sociologists, psychologists, managers and educators in various institutions and organizations that serve refugees, specialists and volunteers in the field. The data is collected online with an open end survey form. The data is analyzed using the content analysis method. First, the topics are determined and the lists are created by making codes under each topic. The results were gathered under the titles and general recommendations were presented.
