Miyoepitelyoma tüm tükrük bezi tümörlerinin %1’inden azını oluşturan nadir bir patolojidir. En sık parotis bezinde karşımıza çıkan bu tümörün tanısında histopatolojik çeşitliliğinden dolayı bazen güçlükler yaşanmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda, sağ parotise uyan bölgede şişlik nedeni ile 1984, 1987 ve 1992 yıllarında üç defa ameliyat olan bir kadın hasta tartışıldı. Kitlenin son ameliyatı ardından tekrar büyüme eğilimi göstererek 14x12 cm ölçülerine ulaşması nedeniyle hastaya total parotidektomi uygulandı. Patoloji sonucu miyoepitelyoma olan hasta, klinik ve patolojik özellikleri ile birlikte sunuldu.
Miyoepitelyoma is a rare pathology that constitutes less than 1% of all spinal gland tumors. The diagnosis of this tumor that is most common in the parotic gland is sometimes difficult due to its histopathological diversity. In the presentation of this fact, a female patient, who had three operations in 1984, 1987 and 1992, was discussed with the cause of swelling in the right parotic area. After the last surgery, the crowd tended to grow again and reached the dimensions of 14x12 cm, with total parotidectomy applied to the patient. The result of the pathology was presented with the patient, clinical and pathological characteristics of myophythelioma.
