So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Türkiye, dünyanın en önemli deprem bölgelerinden birisinde yer almaktadır. Depremin ne zaman meydana geleceği günümüz teknolojisi ile kesin olarak belirlenememektedir. Bir depremdeki muhtemel zararları belirli önlemler alarak azaltmak mümkündür. Okullarda deprem eğitiminin verilmesi deprem zararlarına karşı alınabilecek önlemlerden birisidir. İlköğretimde deprem konularının öğretildiği derslerden birisi de Sosyal Bilgiler\'dir. Bu çalışma ile, İlköğretim Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde deprem eğitiminin ne düzeyde gerçekleştirildiği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca, deprem eğitiminde öğretmenlerin karşılaştıkları güçlükler ve bu güçlüklerin nedenleri araştırılmıştır.

Abstract:

Turkey is located on one of the most important earthquake regions of the world. With current technology, it cannot be certainly forecasted when an earthquake will happen. It is possible to decrease earthquake\'s probable damages by taking certain precautions. Giving earthquake education in schools is one of the precautions that can be taken against damages earthquakes may cause. Social Studies course in Elementary Schools is one of the courses in which earthquakes are dealt with and taught. By means of this study, it has been tried to determine the level of earthquake education in the Elementary Schools\' Social Studies courses. Furthermore, the difficulties teachers face and the causes of these difficulties related with earthquake education have also been investigated.
