Abstract:

This study aims to analyze the master's and doctoral theses related to the language of mathematics in Turkey with a comprehensive perspective. The theses prepared on the language of the mathematics field between 2010-2022 were scanned in the database of YÖKTEZ (Higher Education Council President's Thesis Center). 19 of the master's, 3 of the doctor's form a sample of a total of 22 postgraduate thesis studies. Document research methods have been used. The studies are classified in the form of the thesis, the year in which it was published, the university in which it was conducted, the model and pattern, the fields of learning, the work group and size, the sampling method, the data collection tools, validity-trust, the data analysis methods. The most quantitative research models have been used and scan patterns have been conducted with high school students. Working group is determined by sample methods. The collection of data is usually used by scales, the expert opinion and pilot studies have been carried out to ensure validity and reliability. In the analysis of the data obtained the most used t tests and content analysis. It is recommended to increase the work involving students and learning fields in different teaching stages, with a mixed pattern.
