Yerel halkın turizmin gelişimini destekleme yönündeki tutum ve algıları, belirli bir alandaki turizm gelişiminin incelenmesinde dikkat edilen hususlar arasında yer almaktadır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada yerel halkın turizmin gelişimini destekleme algısını etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, Düzce ilinin Akçakoca ilçesinde yaşayan yerel halktan 401 kişiye anket tekniği uygulanmış ve veriler yapısal eşitlik modellemesine tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; turizmin ekonomik, kültürel ve çevresel etkisinin yerel halkın turizmin gelişimini desteklemeye yönelik algısı üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir etkisinin olduğu ancak sosyal etkinin yerel halkın turizmin gelişimini desteklemeye yönelik algısı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
The attitudes and perceptions of the local people towards supporting the development of tourism are among the aspects that are observed in the study of the development of tourism in a particular area. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that influence the perception of local people supporting the development of tourism. For this purpose, the survey technique was applied to 401 people from the local population living in the Akçakoca district of Düzce and the data was subject to structural equality modeling. According to the analysis, the economic, cultural and environmental impact of tourism has a meaningful and positive impact on the perception of the local population of supporting the development of tourism, but the social impact has no meaningful impact on the perception of the local population of supporting the development of tourism.
The attitudes and perceptions of the local people to support the development of tourism are among the issues considered in the study of tourism development in a particular area.Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the factors affecting the perception of the local people to support the development of tourism. For this purpose, 401 people from the local population living in Akcakoca district of Duzce province were applied a survey technique and the data was subjected to structural equation modeling. According to the results of the analysis; it was determined that the economic, cultural and environmental impact of tourism had a significant and positive effect on the perception of local people to support tourism development. However, it was found that social impact did not have a significant effect on the perception of local people to support tourism development
