Türkiye'de okullarda din derslerinin verilmesi konusu ile ilgili tartışmalar onun 19. Yüzyılın sonlarından itibaren değişim gösteren eğitim sistemi içinde müstakil bir branş oluşundan itibaren başlamış ve günümüze kadar her dönemde devam etmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye'de okulda din eğitiminin tarihi sürecine kısaca değinilerek yeni eğitim sisteminde seçmeli din dersleri ve yeni anayasa tartışmaları ışığında zorunlu din derslerinin gerekliliği tartışılmıştır.
There is a discussion on the issue of teaching religious lessons in the schools in Turkey. Since the end of the century, the changing education system has begun from the formation of a private branch and has continued in every period until today. In the study in Turkey the historic process of religious education in the school has been briefly referred to and discussed the need for mandatory religious courses in the light of elective religious courses in the new education system and new constitutional discussions.
