Abstract:

İnsanlar, yaşamlarının büyük kısmında dile ihtiyaç duymuşlardır. Yaşamlarını sürdürebilmek için ana diliyle iletişim kurmaya devam etmiş yahut başka dile yönelmiştir. Başka dile yönelme; diplomasi, eğitim ve kişisel maksatların yanında savaş, doğal afet, göç gibi etmenler ekseninde de gerçekleşebilir. Dil; kişinin iletişim kurmasını, eğitim almasını ve topluma adapte olmasını sağlayan önemli bir mekanizmadır. Türkiye'deki Suriyelilerin yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenimleri ekseriyetle savaş ve göç sebebiyle gerçekleşmektedir. Suriyelilerin hayatlarını devam ettirmeleri, topluma adapte olmaları ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'ne bağlı kurumlarda eğitim almaları için öncelikli olarak Türkçe bilmelerine ihtiyaç vardır. Bu araştırmada Şanlıurfa iline bağlı olan Akçakale, Harran ve Ceylanpınar ilçelerindeki Geçici Barınma Merkezlerinde ikamet eden Geçici Koruma Statüsü altındaki Suriyeli velilerin çocuklara sunulan eğitim imkânları ile ilgili memnuniyet düzeyinin, öğrencilerin Türkçeyi anlama düzeylerinin; eğitim çağındaki çocukların okullaşma oranının, velilere imkân sunulması durumunda çocuklarının eğitimine kamp dışındaki eğitim merkezlerinde devam etme eğilimlerinin betimlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada yöntem olarak betimleyici model benimsenmiş, alan yazın taraması sonrasında araştırma soruları belirlenerek anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan anket formu nicel ve açık uçludur. Araştırmada kota örnekleme yöntemi ile toplamda 113 Suriyeli veliden yüz yüze anket ve derinlemesine mülakat yöntemi ile birincil veri elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada yöneltilen sorulardaki yargı ve ifadelerin Suriyeliler tarafından değerlendirilmesi için Likert tipi ölçek kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS programı ile analize tabi tutulmuştur.

People need a language for most of their lives. He continued to communicate with his mother tongue or other languages to continue his life. Other languages can also occur in the axis of factors such as war, natural disasters, migration, as well as diplomacy, education and personal purposes. Language is an important mechanism that allows a person to communicate, receive education and adapt to society. As a foreign language of the Syrians in Turkey, Turkish studies are generally carried out due to war and immigration. The Syrians need to know Turkish in the first place to continue their lives, to adapt to society and to receive education in the institutions associated with the Republic of Turkey. This study aims to illustrate the level of satisfaction of the educational opportunities offered to children by the Syrian guardians under the provisional protection status residing in the temporary accommodation centers in the province of Akçakale, Harran and Ceylanpınar, the level of understanding of the Turkish language of the students; the rate of schooling of the children in the educational age, the tendency to continue their children’s education in the educational centers outside the camp if the possibility is offered to the guardians. The research method adopted the illustrative model, the field after the summer scan was created the survey form by identifying the research questions. The form of the survey is quantum and open. In the study, the primary data were obtained by a face-to-face survey and deep-interview method of 113 Syrian guardians with the method of cota sampling. The study used a Likert-type scale to evaluate judgments and statements on the questions addressed by the Syrians. The data collected has been analyzed through the SPSS program.

Language is an important mechanism that enables the person to communicate, receive education and adapt to the society. Turkish Language education as a foreign language of Syrians in Turkey usually occurs due to war and migration. It is a priority necessity that the Syrians need to learn Turkish in order to continue their lives, to be adapted to Turkish society and to get education in institutions affiliated with the Republic of Turkey. The research was carried out with Syrian parents under Temporary Protection Status residing in Temporary Accommodation Centers in Akçakale, Harran and Ceylanpınar in Şanlıurfa. The aim of this study is to describe the satisfaction level of Syrian parents in field of education opportunities offered to children, students' comprehension level of Turkish, the school attendance rate of school-aged children, their tendency to continue their education in education centers outside the camps if it is possible. Research questions were determined and a survey form was created. The created surveys consisted of quantitative and open-ended questions. Likert type scale was used to be evaluated the judgements and expressions in the questions by Syrians. These surveys were applied to 113 Syrian parents and the collected data was analyzed with SPSS program.
