Abstract:

Although many factors play a role in the success of organizations, the conformity with the organization in which people work is important both from the organization’s point of view and from the individual’s point of view. This situation, defined as a person's organization consistency, is the similarity of a set of basic characteristics between the individual and the institution values. These similarities include values, goals, personality, attitude, culture and climate. Today, health organizations, which are faced with constantly developing and changing environments, host individuals with many different values of judgment. With this feature, hospitals with the matrix organizational structure host a variety of professional groups. Nurses have a great place and importance in organizations that are constantly and interacting with patients in health organizations and in terms of the quality of the service they provide. One of the most important factors affecting the intentions and attitudes of nurses in the work environment is the person’s organization. The person's organization's high harmony reduces the speed of nursing and improves the quality of patient care. Professional nurses that are compatible with their values can create greater awareness in health organizations. In this direction, the health organizations are the key stone of the nurses' conformity in the organization they work, the organizational commitment of nurses, the patient safety and the quality of the service they provide.
