Abstract:

The success of tourism faculty that trains students to work in the tourism sector depends on their graduates working in the tourism sector. It is known that the tendency of unhappy students to work in the tourism sector is low during their undergraduate studies. Therefore, the general levels of student satisfaction and the factors that affect it are considered as very important information for the universities. This study was conducted with a survey with a five-layer scale aimed at comparing the overall experience satisfaction of Selçuk University and Necmettin Erbakan University bachelor's students. The study deals with the most common dimensions of students’ educational life experience, such as campus services and facilities, social conditions, the attractiveness of the city, educational characteristics and general satisfaction. This study is also useful in terms of developing solutions for faculties with vacant containers. The study included 552 bachelor students and the data obtained from the study was analyzed in the SPSS program. According to the research results, the subdimensions that have the greatest impact on the satisfaction level of the tourism faculty students have been identified as "Social Conditions", "Educational Guidelines", "City Attraction", "Campus Services" and "Campus Facilities" respectively. The highest levels of satisfaction are defined as the highest student groups, men by gender, tourism guidance by department, normal teaching by type of teaching, and first-class students by class.
