Türk para ve sermaye piyasalarında İslâmi finans uygulamalarına duyulan ilginin giderek artmasıyla birlikte, katılım bankalarına olan ilgide de artış yaşanmıştır. Türk bankacılık sektöründe son üç yılda, üç adet kamu sermayeli katılım bankasının açılması, katılım bankacılığı sektöründeki ihtiyacın ve İslâmi bankacılık uygulamalarının desteklenmesine yönelik kamu politikalarının bir göstergesi olarak yorumlanabilir. Son on yılda, çok kriterli koşullar altındaki kararları destekleyen bir dizi etkili karar verme yöntemi ortaya çıkmıştır. Literatürde bankaların performanslarını ölçmeye yönelik çeşitli Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemleri önerilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren katılım bankalarının 2017 ve 2018 yılları için kar ve maliyet kriterleri açısından performans analizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, analiz yöntemi olarak Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Modellerinden biri olan VIKOR modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu model alternatifler arasında bir sıralama belirleyerek, belirlenen ağırlıklar yardımıyla bir çözüme ulaşmak amacıyla kullanılır. VIKOR modeli ile katılım bankalarının kar ve maliyet analizleri yapılmış ve elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.
With the increasing interest in Islamic financial practices in the Turkish money and capital markets, interest in participation banks has also increased. The establishment of three public participation banks in the Turkish banking sector in the last three years can be interpreted as an indicator of the need in the participation banking sector and public policies to support Islamic banking practices. In the last decade, a number of effective decision-making methods have emerged to support decisions under multi-criteria conditions. Various Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods have been proposed in the literature to measure the performance of banks. In this study, performance analysis is made in terms of profit and cost criteria for participation banks operating in Turkey for 2017 and 2018. In the study, the VIKOR model, which is one of the Multi Criteria Decision Making Models, is used as the analysis method. This model is used to determine a sort between alternatives and to reach a solution with the help of the determined weights. Profit and cost analysis of participation banks are made with VIKOR model and evaluations are made within the framework of the findings.
