Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between children, by studying their digital gaming addictions and their parents’ digital gaming strategies. The examples of the study consist of 260 pre-school students and guardians who are trained in the 2021-2022 educational year. The data of the study was obtained through the personal information form, the Digital Game Addiction Trends and the scale of "Digital Game Parental Guidance Strategies". Children’s digital gaming addictions, within the scale of Separation from Life, Conflict, Continuous Play and Reflection to Life, are also studied by addressing digital gaming guidance strategies in the form of Active Parental Guidance Strategies, Digital Guidance Parental Guidance Strategies, Free Parental Guidance Strategies and Technical Parental Guidance Strategies. The scrutiny and scrutiny of the data received have been examined. T-Test, one-way variance analysis and Pearson correlation analysis for data analysis have been carried out. Imaginary analysis and other analysis results are presented in tables by determining the results. Pre-school children's digital gaming addictions and the digital gaming parents' guidance strategies have been studied within the framework of the child's gender, the educational status of the parent, the age range of the parent and the variables of the long-term place of residence. Pre-school age levels have been determined that children's digital gaming addiction varies significantly according to gender, parent education status, parent age and long-term residence variable, while digital gaming parents guidance strategies have been shown that children's gender, parent education status and parent age range varies significantly. A significant level of relationship between pre-school students' digital gaming addictions and parents' digital gaming addictions has been identified between parents' guidance strategies.
