Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the relationship between work health and safety (ISG) practices and work stress and employment liability variables. The method is used as a measurement technique. 101 people involved in the survey consist of occupational safety experts and occupational safety technicians with occupational safety certificates in different classes located in Istanbul. The research has used the socio-demographic form of information, the performance scale of the ISG applications, the business stress scale and the employment commitment scale. The results of the analyses found a negative relationship between work stress and employment commitment, while a positive relationship between employment commitment and performance of the ISG Applications was found. At the end of this study, the elimination or decrease of work stress in institutions has indirectly affected the performance of the ISG and, at the same time, the management participates and the communication is high increasing the commitment to the ISG practices and the creation of a negative security culture to the occurrence of work accidents has a positive impact.
