2010 yılından bu yana Suriye’de yaşanan iç savaş nedeniyle ülkelerinden göç eden halk için Türkiye önemli bir göç merkezi haline gelirken, yaşanan bu kaos ve mülteci krizi sonucunda Avrupa ülkelerinde ve Türkiye’de mülteci sorunu nefret söyleminin merkezine yerleşmiştir. Mülteciler ve yaşadıkları sorunlarla ilgili çevrimiçi ortamlarda üretilen içerikler, kullanılan dil mültecilere yönelik oluşan nefret söyleminin daha güçlenmesine sebep olmaktadır. Çalışmada Türkiye’de Suriyelilerle ilgili çevrimiçi paylaşımların nefret unsurları taşıyıp taşımadığı, ayrımcı söylem stratejileri temelinde sınıflandırılarak araştırılmıştır. Türkiye’deki Twitter kullanıcılarının Türkçe içerikleri üzerinden gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada, #suriyeli”, “#mülteci”, “#suriyelimülteci”, “#suriyelileriistemiyoruz” ve “#suriyelilerdefolsun” hashtaglerinin altına yapılan 4.217 adet tweet incelenmiş ve mültecilere geliştirilen söylemlerin daha çok hangi ayrımcı söylem stratejileri tipolojileri altında toplandığı keşfedilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada olumsuz söylemlerin ötekileştirici ve kışkırtıcı bir arka planı olduğu, Twitter kullanıcılarının söylemlerinin sertleşip hakaret boyutuna vardığı, mültecilere yönelik nefret ve düşmanlık söylemlerinin kolektif olarak kamusal eleştiriler çerçevesinde toplandığını söylemek mümkündür.
Since 2010, Turkey has become an important immigration center for the people who migrate from their countries because of the civil war in Syria, and as a result of this chaos and refugee crisis, the refugee issue has become the center of hate speech in the European countries and in Turkey. The content produced in the online environments related to refugees and the problems they live in causes the language used to strengthen the hate speech against refugees. The study has been investigated by classification on the basis of discriminatory speech strategies in Turkey where online sharing related to the Syrians carries hate elements or not. In this survey conducted through the Turkish content of Twitter users in Turkey, 4,217 tweets under the hashtags #suriyeli, #migrants, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli, #suriyeli. In the study, it is possible to say that negative statements have an authoritative and provocative background, that Twitter users’ statements are harder and up to the scale of insult, that hate statements and hostility statements towards refugees are collectively gathered in the framework of public criticism.
