So many results that aren't mine?

Öğrenci Görüşleriyle Türk Edebiyatı Ders Kitaplarındaki Metinlerin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract:

Bu çalışma, Türk Edebiyatı ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin öğrenci görüşleriyle değerlendirilmesini ortaya koymak için gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda öncelikle ilgili alan taranıp ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin hangi özellikleri taşıması gerektiği ortaya konmuştur. Sonrasında metinlerle ilgili anket maddeleri oluşturulmuştur. Metinlere yönelik sorular içeren 34 maddelik likert tipi anket, 571 ortaöğretim öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamındaki örneklem grubu, Kırşehir il merkezindeki farklı lise türlerinden farklı ekonomik özelliklerden öğrencileri içermiştir. Örneklem grubundaki öğrencilerin görüşlerine göre ders kitabında kullanılan metinlerin “metinlerin öğrenmeye ve öğrenme isteğine etkisi”, “metinlerde estetik, evrensel ve ulusal değerler”, “metinlerin öğrencilere göreliği”, “metinlerin güncelle ve diğer disiplinlerle ilişkisi”, “metinlerin türü ve anlaşılırlık düzeyi” boyutlarında ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin ilgi ve isteklerine cevap verir nitelikte olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the evaluation of texts in Turkish literature textbooks from students’ perspectives. Firstly, the related field was searched to determine what features the texts in textbooks must have. Foolowing this, a Likert-type questionnaire which consists of 34 items about texts was prepared and given to 571 secondary school students. The sample in this study includes students in Kırşehir who attend different kinds of high schools and have different socio-economic status. Student responses in the categories “the effects of texts on learning and learning desire”, “aesthetic, universal and national values in texts”, “relevance of texts to students”, “the relationship between texts and current events and other disciplines”, and “the type and comprehensibility levels of texts” showed that the texts did not appeal to the interests of the students
