Bu çalışmada bibliometrik analiz yardımıyla Web of Science Core Collection veri tabanında franchising konusunda yapılmış çalışmalar incelenmiş ve konu ile ilgili eğilimler ve yapılacak yeni çalışmalar için literatüre katkı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla 1975-2020 tarihleri arasında “Franching” anahtar kelimesi tarama yapılmış, elde edilen 1437 makalenin analizde kullanılmıştır. Çalışmalar yıllara göre yayın ve atıf sayıları, atıf patlamaları, ülke ve yazar iş birliktelikleri açısından incelenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; Analizin yapılması için bibliyometrik bilimsel haritalama yöntemi kullanılmış ve analizler Citespace II programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmalar; yıllara göre yayın sayılarının dağılımı, yayın türleri, yayın dilleri, yazar atıf sayıları, yayınların ülkelere göre dağılımı ve ülke iş birliktelikleri incelenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, yayın sayıları bağlamında en çok yayının 2019 yılında yayınlandığı tespit edilmiştir. %75 oranında makale yayın türü ile yayın yapıldığı ve yayınların en çok İngilizce dilinde yapıldığı ortaya çıkmıştır. İngilizceyi İspanyolca ve Portekizce takip etmektedir. Bu durumla ilişkili olarak yayın sayılarının en yüksek olduğu ülkeler sırasıyla; ABD, İngiltere ve Avusturalyadır. 2018 yılında 2131 atıf sayısı ile en yüksek orana ulaşan atıfların yazarlarının ise Perrigot R., Windsperger J., Dant R.P. olduğu belirlenmiştir. En fazla atıf sayısına sahip dergiler ise Strategic Management Journal olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Son 50 yıl yapılan çalışmalarda Franchising konusunun; ‘’Franchise sözleşmesi’’, ‘’performans’’ ve ‘’organizasyon formu’’ temaları ile önemli bağlantılarının olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.
This study, with the help of bibliometric analysis, examined the work on franchising in the Web of Science Core Collection database and sought to contribute to literature for the topic-related trends and new studies to be done. For this purpose, the keyword "Franching" was scanned between 1975-2020 and used in the analysis of 1437 articles obtained. The studies have been studied by years in terms of publications and reference numbers, reference explosions, country and writer's cooperation. According to the results of the analysis; the bibliometric scientific maping method was used to perform the analysis and the analysis was carried out with the Citespace II program. The studies; the distribution of publications according to the years, the types of publications, the languages of publications, the number of references of authors, the distribution of publications according to the countries and the country trade unions have been studied. According to the results of the analysis, the number of publications in the context has been found that the most publications were published in 2019. 75% of the articles were published in the type of publication and most of the publications were in English. They follow English in Spanish and Portuguese. The countries with the highest number of broadcasts in this situation are, respectively, the United States, the UK and Austria. The authors of the highest ratio with 2131 references in 2018 are Perrigot R., Windsperger J., Dant R.P. It is determined. The magazine with the highest number of references is the Strategic Management Journal. In the past 50 years, research has found that franchising has significant links with the “Franchise Contract”, “Performance” and “Organization Form” themes.
