Innovation economics is a scientific discipline that targets the change in economic activities by using resources and time efficiently to produce new goods and services. Innovation economics, which is essentially science, information and technology, is an important step in the globalization process. In this study, in order to see trends and trends in the last 20 years, 3509 studies in the economy category of innovation economics in the period of 2000-2019 were examined bibliometric. In this context, the data obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection database were analyzed in terms of publication numbers, publication types, publication languages, citation analyzes, country analysis, common citation networks and concepts and subject orientations. Social network analysis was used to determine the concepts and subject orientations of co-citation networks, authors, magazines, institutions, and referral outbursts. According to the results of the analysis, it was determined that the most studies on innovation economics were done in 2017, and the most cited references were made in 2018. This shows that the interest in the field has increased in recent years. The studies are mostly written in the English language of the article type. The most recent field study was conducted in the USA. The journal with the highest number of citations was Thesis, and the author was OECD, with the exception of the authors whose names could not be identified. The most used keyword was innovation, while the most studied subject was in economy category. In most studied subject category, an explosion occurred in the field of engineering area between 2007-2010.
