Abstract:

In the framework of the research developed in order to determine the role of social responsibility projects in supporting the development of children before school, "Every day an event" (2017-2018) and "Science Journey-Language and Concept Development Workshops in Mamak" (2018-2019) projects were implemented, to ensure equal opportunities among children, to contribute to their education through different practices, to show teachers different educational perspectives, to adopt the importance of education by playing the theoretical knowledge of teachers' applications, to the parents. The concept toys, interactive book reading, Orff Schulwerk-based music education, use of children's yoga, drama and playing garden games have been carried out at the university campus with 32 bachelor students. In this case study, in the 198 maternal universe in Ankara-Mamak, 1503 children, 110 teachers, 196 guardians were reached using the simple non-selective sample method. Qualitative data is analyzed by the visual analysis, obtained through semi-configured forms of interviews and observations conducted by validity-confidence studies developed by the researchers. Progress has been observed in the language, social-emotional, cognitive development of children, teachers have seen different games, observed their practices and performed various activities. Teachers have experienced the knowledge they obtained in their bachelor's studies. The parents received positive opinions about the development of their children.
