Abstract:

Considering that therapeutic relationships and therapeutic conditions are inseparable conditions for the psychological consultation process, it is important that psychological consultants provide a scale in which the interpersonal stress they experience in the psychological consultation process is studied to Turkish literature. In this study, the scale adaptation process was carried out from a language to another. There are four different examples of validity and reliability. The study found that the scale has a meaningful relationship between Turkish and English forms in all materials at a medium and high level. In the ISSC validity and reliability study, the DFA results confirm the four-dimensional structure of the linguistic adjustment process (χ2/sd=2.881). When the ISSC compatibility values are studied (RMSEA=.08, SRMR=. 7, GFI=.89 and AGFI=.85) are the four-dimensional structure of the DFA results of the scale. In terms of the material-total correlation of the ISSC, the material-total points varied between .237 and .634 . The Cronbach Alpha ratio is .878 and McDonald's ω ratio is .874 for the measurement's reliability ratio. When the Turkish version of the measurement is test-up test results, it is found that the reliability value is r=.79 (p<.001). Also, the test-up test result on the open end of the scale is 88%. When it comes to the results of the semi-test correlation analysis of the scale, there is a meaningful relationship between the lower dimensions at a medium and high level. In this regard, it can be said that the ISSC is reliable in measuring interpersonal stress in its relationships with the consultant.
